Crompton Announces Two Internal Promotions

Crompton Lamps has announced two internal promotions to keep up with the continuing expansion of the company’s product portfolio, which includes the Phoebe LED brand and company growth.
Ted Leather has been appointed director of finance following two years with Crompton as Financial Controller. Ted has been working alongside various companies in the electrical sector since 2007 and previously worked as company accountant for Nu-Swift Fire and Safety before joining Crompton two years ago. Ted commented “2017 has been a dynamic year for Crompton with the ongoing success of the Phoebe LED brand and new products and technologies. The realignment of key people will help us to continue our steady growth”.
Sarah Hayes has been promoted to director of sales with immediate effect, after an extremely successful period in the role of national sales manager with the company. Sarah has over 25 years in the electrical wholesale industry, having previously worked for Philips and Honeywell. In Sarah’s new role she will be responsible for the UK sales team and national accounts for Crompton Lamps. Sarah commented “I have taken this role because I can see great opportunity in the brand and its products, particularly in Phoebe LED and the new launches planned for 2017/18. Also the current products are high-end technology, very innovative and will provide great opportunities to establish Crompton as the leading UK lamp supplier”.
Crompton Lamps is one of the oldest lamp businesses in the world and will be celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2018. The company offer a wide and diverse portfolio of products and also offer fittings through its Phoebe LED range to offer a complete ‘one stop shop’ for lighting products.
