Tridonic strengthens design and technical support for OEMs with new appointment

allan loxtonTridonic, a leader in the provision of LED drivers has announced the appointment of Allan Loxton as the company's new Design-In Engineer.

Working closely with both the technical support team and the company's sales team, Allan will play a key role in communicating changes and enhancements to existing product ranges and sharing the benefits of new products and solutions.

"One of Tridonic's strengths is the investment that it makes to improve existing products and develop new offerings. With Allan in our team we hope that our OEMs will have improved access to this information and will be in a better position to utilise the latest technology," said Martin Thompson, Technical Services Manager.

Allan has over 10 years of experience in the lighting industry, much of it gained working for an OEM where Tridonic's products were the preferred solution. "This is an exciting time in the lighting industry as the technology is changing so quickly. I'm looking forward to getting to know the company's OEMs and other partners, and helping them to maximise on the opportunities that exist."

Allan will also manage Tridonic's certification process for smaller OEMs who may need assistance with product development and certification. This service allows an OEM to request full design and fitting support from Tridonic who, once the fitting is complete, will then test and issue full certification documentation to support the final luminaire.
