MHA Lighting Strengthens Sales Team with New Appointments

MULTI-award-winning LED lighting specialist MHA Lighting is starting the New Year with three key additions to their Sales Operation.

The new recruits join the Atherton-based lighting manufacturer this month to help service the increasing demand from organisations wishing to make the switch to energy-efficient LED lighting.

Nicola Gill and Mike Edmond join the company as field sales managers, with Nicola focussed on partner and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sales and Mike on specifier and end client sales.

Colin Campbell also joins the Technical Sales Team as an applications engineer.

Nicola, 36, comes from a lighting component sales background and previously spent two years at Future Lighting Solutions as an account manager.

Mike, 38, has more than 14 years’ experience in sales including roles at Glasdon and Flogas.
Their appointments come as the company takes on a number of new starters in production to help support and accelerate its expansion plans for 2014.

MHA Lighting managing director Tom Harrison said: “I am delighted to welcome these new faces to MHA Lighting as each one of them strengthens the team and enhances our offering.

“Nicola for example brings a wealth of OEM experience to the Sales Team and a huge amount of specialist knowledge in light-engines.

“This year is set to be an exciting one for MHA. The LED lighting market is predicted to grow by 40% in 2014 and we are confident of out-pacing the general market trend as we did in 2013.

“Great people and a fantastic product are key to MHA Lighting’s continued growth and as we move in 2014 we are fortunate to be in possession of both.”

MHA Lighting now employs 40 people at the company’s headquarters in Atherton, Greater Manchester.
