Zumtobel’s New VAERO LED Wins Over The judges At The Electrical Industry Awards 2018

eia2018Zumtobel Lighting has received the accolade of winner in the Commercial Lighting Lamps/Luminaires category at the Electrical Industry Awards, with its VAERO LED direct/indirect, pendant luminaire.

The Electrical Industry Awards, held at The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London, is one of the industry’s longest running awards events and recognises the best of the best, with products chosen by a panel of well-respected judges from the electrical industry.

Vareo in officeThe new VAERO LED has a purist design that utilises transparent Waveguide to provide a clear, minimalist and discreet design that can be integrated into very different office areas and almost any room architecture – whether a classic working environment or a creative communication zone. With the aid of special technology, the light is evenly spread from the luminaire centre to the edge, for a pleasant distribution of light and a pleasing visual ambience.

When switched on, VAERO LED looks like a super-slim, almost hovering, evenly-illuminating light disk but when switched off, it appears no less elegant vareoas the light guide panel is almost transparent. Perfect lighting quality and the long lifetime of the luminaire are guaranteed by the new-generation LED modules. The new VAERO LED thus not only fulfils the maximum demands for visual comfort, but also caters for the requirements of modern office illumination.
