New features for Collabor8online the Project Extranet |

Collabor8 (www.collabor8online.co.uk), the recently launched online service for managing project documentation, has now been enhanced with a number of new features. These include upgraded tools for submitting revised documents and drawings to sub-contractors, combined calendars and 'to do' lists for managing project timelines and work schedules - and a 'walkthrough' video demonstrating Collabor8's functionality.
The revisions management functionality is ideal for ensuring that everyone on a project is working with the newest versions of key documents such as drawings, whether they are directly-employed staff or sub-contractors. Using a simple, intuitive automated numbering system, Collabor8 ensures that each authorised user can see immediately which document to refer to.
Project management tools include the combined calendar/to do list, which enables project milestones (e.g. 2nd fix) to be flagged up and linked to tasks assigned to individuals. Users can also synchronise the online calendar with their personal desktop calendar (e.g. Outlook).
The Collabor8online website now also incorporates a 'how to' video demonstrating the uses of the system and how to make full use of its functionality.
