Legrand has appointed Mark Evans as its new UK marketing director.
Mark, who previously held the post of lead marketing manager for the company’s wiring devices business unit, takes over from Louis-Benoit Rusterholtz, who has returned to Legrand HQ in Limoges, France after two years in the role.
Commenting on his new role, he said: “The job certainly brings with it a lot of new challenges, but key amongst them is the task of changing market perceptions about Legrand.
“Our new branding says ‘powered by specialists’ – a phrase that encapsulates the strength of our brands, sales teams and market knowledge across our three key business units, wiring devices, cable management, and power and data.
“It is this message we want to get across so that when people think of Legrand they think of us as an industry wide specialist rather than a specialist in one particular discipline.”
Legrand’s industry specialist position is underscored by its 19 per cent share of the global wiring device market and 15 per cent share of the global cable management market, making the company the world leader in both areas.
