Companies can be nominated for Consultancy of the Year and Contractor of the Year - everyone is eligible to put names forward and nominations must be accompanied by a supporting statement demonstrating how the nominated company meets the category criteria.
The nominated practices should be engaged in the design of projects where comfort, sustainability and aesthetics come together to produce buildings which will delight their users on handover, and throughout the life of the building.
Another new category ‘Training Initiative of the Year' has been launched and highlights best practice in training and CPD, the winning entry will show how the organisation has used training and development to further the use and application of low carbon and sustainable technologies in their business.

Rewarding excellence in sustainable and aspirational buildings, the CIBSE Low Carbon Performance awards are raising industry standards by recognising those who are designing and managing the UKs most sustainable and innovative projects & products. Other categories include ‘New Build of the Year', ‘Refurbishment of the Year', ‘Client of the Year' and ‘Low Carbon Manager of the Year'.
