lewden catalogueLewden Palazzoli has released a new lighting catalogue to illustrate the range of lighting fixtures available for different needs and installations, even for the harshest installations such as tunnels, ships, submarines and Atex areas or those with gas, dust and corrosive agents.

Lewden Palazzoli prides itself in understanding the customer and, due to its manufacturing flexibility, the company can tailor products to meet the customer’s exact requirements.

In addition to in-depth information on the company’s range of RINO lighting fixtures, the catalogue offers step-by-step solutions with photometric and technical data for tough and hazardous projects. RINO LED is the new watertight lighting fixture series made of steel and glass including LED technology to illuminate internal or external areas. The new light distribution system ensures more than 35 percent energy savings when compared with the same luminous flux of a T8 fluorescent lamp. Visual comfort is guaranteed by the anti-glare diffuser. These luminaires are suitable for food industries, extractor hoods, chemical industries, mines and environments with oil presence.

Suitable for food industries, extractor hoods, chemical industries, mines and environments with oil presence, the RINO fluorescent light fittings are manufactured with the highest quality standards guaranteeing reliability and best performances, such as the body which is cold-drawn in a single piece and with a high photometric output. The RINO series of round and oval bulkhead fixtures are manufactured using the high quality materials and standards required for industrial products. The diffuser in anti-impact ribbed glass, lamp holder in porcelain, surface treatment of passivation with fluoro-zirconium and hot polymerized polyester painting guarantees resistance of the product in all areas.

The RINO-EX series of fluorescent water tight luminaires are manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304 and are suitable for applications in areas at risk of explosive atmospheres as defined in ATEX Directives 94/9/EC and 2014/34/EU. The diffuser is in tempered glass and the fixing hooks are in stainless steel AISI 304. The sealing is guaranteed by a reinforced gasket in non-ageing elastomer. Complete with corrosion resistant non-loosening terminals and non-sparking lamp holder, the fittings are supplied with a M20 cable gland, internal and external earth protection and carry the guarantee for safety in hazardous areas with gas, dust and corrosive agents.

RINO-ex series also encompasses watertight bulkhead fixtures in aluminium, suitable for applications in areas at risk of explosive atmospheres as defined in ATEX Directives 94/9/EC and 2014/34/EU. The body of the bulkhead fixture is treated with ecological anti-corrosion passivation with fluoro-zirconium and finished with hot polymerized scratch-resistant non-toxic.
