Honeywell Doorbells Awarded Prestigious 2016 Red Dot Design Award

2016 Red Dot Design AwardHoneywell has announced that its new Honeywell Doorbells product line has won a prestigious 2016 Red Dot Design Award for superior product design.

The competition’s jury of 41 design experts from around the globe selected Honeywell Doorbells for their intuitive design and functionality.

The Red Dot Design Award, one of the world’s largest international product competitions, attracted more than 5,000 entrants from more than 50 countries, and includes some of the world’s most recognized brands. The “Red Dot” is an internationally recognised quality label for excellent design.

Honeywell Doorbells, launched in 2016, are a new range of wired, wireless, portable or plug-in doorbells. The product adopts a modular platform design to allow for customisation to local requirements around the globe. Easy-to-install and designed to seamlessly fit in with any home décor, Honeywell Doorbells communicates using both sound and light, ensuring homeowners don’t miss a delivery and are not inconveniently disturbed.

It can also adapt to a consumer’s lifestyle with a range of customisable features, including personalised melodies, visual alerts and mute options.  A ‘secret knock’ function  triggers an alternative melody to notify if a family member or friend is at the door.
