Vent-Axia’s Lo-Carbon Response Wins at Prestigious Housebuilder Awards

Housebuilder AwardsLeading British ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia is celebrating winning Best Brand New Product of the Year in the prestigious Housebuilder Product Awards 2014.

Scooping the award for its revolutionary Lo-Carbon Response™ dMEV solution, the Sussex-based company received the accolade at an awards ceremony held at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham. Hosted by Graham Poll, England's best known referee, the event brought together key suppliers from across the housebuilder products sector.

Marking the second year of this annual ceremony, the Housebuilder Product Awards 2014 proved a successful day. Judged by a distinguished panel of industry experts,
the awards recognise innovation and excellence in housebuilder products; a key factor as the UK moves towards zero carbon homes.

Following a rigorous judging process, Vent-Axia won the award for its pioneering Lo-Carbon Response™. Packed with innovative features the Response is a near silent, continuous running, constant volume dMEV solution. Designed for both new build and the social housing sector, the SAP Appendix Q listed Response is ideal for both kitchen and bathroom applications.

“We are delighted to have been acknowledged by the housebuilding industry for our pioneering Lo-Carbon Response™. At Vent-Axia we are committed to innovation and continuous development, we are therefore very proud to be recognised in these prestigious awards which honour innovation and excellence in UK housebuilding” said Jenny Smith, Marketing Services Manager, Vent-Axia.

Providing excellent pressure while still maintaining high energy efficiency, the Response features a unique digital display that confirms airflow and system pressure of the installed product. This helps housebuilders to ensure optimum performance and comply with Building Regulations, plus saves time and money on site by speeding up commissioning.

Offering an affordable high pressure ventilation solution which is more cost-effective and efficient than a comparable centrifugal fan the Response features a new silent higher pressure axial impellor. As a result, the Response can meet the high pressure requirements of many domestic installations without the need to use a centrifugal fan: a first. In addition, the Response also features Vent-Axia’s innovative datalogger helping landlords protect homes from condensation and mould.
