Sylvania Rubico Revamped with LED Addition

Rubico LEDSylvania has introduced two brand new LED additions to its popular Rubico range of office luminaires. Sylvania Rubico LED, which comes in both 600 x 600mm and 1,200 x 300mm sizes, provides contractors and end-users with a high-output, easy-to-install office lighting solution at a competitive price.

Rubico LED builds on the comprehensive portfolio of office lighting products already under the Havells Sylvania umbrella.
Available in 3000K and 4000K colour temperatures, Rubico LED has an impressive light output of up to 3,490lm (luminaire lumen output) for the 50W version. With clear and balanced light dispersion, thanks to the advanced Micro-Prismatic Optic (MPO), office spaces will no longer require as many luminaires to achieve desired light levels. This not only results in reduced initial outlays but also lower running costs.

Rubico LED benefits from a slim enclosure and a mounting depth of just 75mm, ensuring minimal impact in ceiling voids. Perfect for ‘lay-in’ and ‘pull-up’ installations, Rubico LED comes with an easy access terminal block, complete with light engine and quick connector, meaning installation can be done quickly and easily with minimal lighting downtime if retrofitting.

“Having listened to our customers, we have understood the large demand for Rubico in an energy-efficient LED format,” comments Anthony Martindale, Senior Strategic Business Unit Manager at Havells Sylvania. “Rubico LED is the perfect example of Sylvania striving to offer its trade-base with the very best products, at the best price point and for a wide array of applications. By incorporating our advanced LED technologies within Rubico, it’s extended our portfolio of office lighting solutions to suit the end-user’s every requirement.”

The Sylvania Rubico LED range offers a choice of energy-efficient electronic gear, to suit different applications - DALI dimmable, 3 hour emergency, DALI 3 hour emergency and 1-10V versions all come as standard.
