Megaman® Showcases New Range of Smart Lighting Controls at Light+Building 2014

Megaman® will showcase its new Smart Lighting control solution at Light+Building 2014. The new range is ideal for those looking for an affordable Bluetooth controlled LED retrofit or for larger installations there is a scalable RF-based dimming solution that offers guaranteed compatibility with the latest in MEGAMAN LED lamp technology.

Alongside this new product launch, MEGAMAN will have on display the company’s latest in professional LED lamp technology, including its full range of LED alternatives to metal halides.

MEGAMAN will also be celebrating 20 years in low-energy lighting at the show. It is the only major brand to have exclusively manufactured low-energy lighting products throughout its 20-year history.

The centrepiece of the MEGAMAN stand at Light+Building will be a decorative pendant created by award winning New Zealand designer, David Trubridge, containing MEGAMAN®’s beautifully sleek Incanda-LED lamps.  Other designer luminaires featured on-stand will be Terence Woodgate’s new Solid range of LED pendants, incorporating MEGAMAN®’s dimmable 6W PAR16 GU10 LED lamps.

Fred Bass, managing director of Neonlite International Ltd, the brand owner of MEGAMAN®, comments: “Light + Building gives us an ideal platform on which to launch our new Smart Lighting control solution.  An affordable smartphone controlled retrofit solution that provides guaranteed compatibility with our latest MEGAMAN LED lamp technology, the new range should generate significant interest amongst installers and specifiers alike.  We will also be taking the opportunity to celebrate our 20th year as manufacturers of high quality CFL and LED lamp technology at the show”.
