ETS Cable Components Celebrates 25 Years Of Service To The Electrical Industry

ETS 25th anniversaryETS Cable Components, stockist and distributor of Low/Medium voltage power cable accessories and equipment, this month celebrated its 25th anniversary.

Based on a quarter of a century of experience, ETS have supplied products to some of the largest and most iconic projects and continue to lead the way in the distribution of power cable accessories. Projects supplied over the years include; The Original Canary Wharf Tower, Hong Kong International Airport, The Jubilee Line Extension, Wembley Stadium, The Channel Tunnel Rail Link, Heathrow Terminal 5 and many of the 2012 Olympic projects.

Steve Gould, Managing Director stated “This is a significant milestone for any company and we are very proud to have reached it, but more importantly the business is still growing.”

“Over the 25 years we have seen the market change considerably, with the recent global financial crisis massively affecting the construction and infrastructure markets. However, we have shown resilience as a business and weathered the storm, continued to grow and we currently find ourselves in our strongest position yet.”

Founded in November 1988, ETS started trading from Portsmouth, with expansion into London taking place in 1991 despite the backdrop of the recession. Since then, the company has also moved into the West Midlands, to give a more national presence and the ability to service the whole of the UK. In recent years the company has expanded its export activities, which has resulted in many new clients all over the world.

Steve added “The real key to our success is the quality of our staff. We have a number of people who have been with the company for many years and their knowledge, experience and levels of customer service really set us apart from others in the market."
