Local Charity Receives Thousands of Free Megaman Lamps

Megaman UK has donated thousands of lamps to the Hertfordshire based charity Isabel Hospice this month. Megaman UK was keen to work with local charities situated close to the company’s head office in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire and is now working closely with Isabel Hospice.

Isabel Hospice was founded in 1982 and strives to enhance the quality of life of patients living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. The charity  has 12 shops in the Hertfordshire area and will now be selling Megaman CFL candles and GLS lamps for a 100% profit.

Megaman UK is continuing to work with the Isabel Hospice on other ventures, including sponsoring their golf day which will be held at Hanbury Manor near Ware in May. and also holding a recycling day at the Megaman head office during the May Day bank holiday weekend when members of the public are invited to donate household electrical appliances for recycling along with clothes, toys, books and anything else which will then be sold in Isabel Hospice shops. Stay tuned for details of these events.

Isabel Hospice is an independent body and is supported mainly by donations from the public. All care given by the Hospice is free to patients. For more information about the Isabel Hospice, visit www.isabelhospice.org.uk.
