JIB brand competition - winner announced

JIB has announced that Electrical Power Specialists Ltd have been named as the overall winner of the JIB Promote Your Brand Competition.

Having worked their way through stage 2 of the competition, their entry was judged as providing the best examples of how they are using and intending to use JIB branding to promote their business. As a result, they receive the competition prize of an Apple iPad 2.

In their stage 2 entry, Sue Parker of Electrical Power Specialists explained that there is an increasing demand from clients to demonstrate that the company is well run and supports its employees with appropriate training and benefits, and so JIB membership is becoming of increasing importance. As a result they are already using their JIB membership to support their case when completing Pre-Qualification, sub-contract questionnaires. In addition they aim to display the enhanced JIB members branding on their new website and on all their vans, which they describe as their ‘mobile advertising space’.

The judges also commended the entries from two runner-up companies who, with Electrical Power Specialists, were short-listed for the iPad prize.

Future Electrical Services Ltd demonstrated how they were currently displaying the JIB branding on all their quotations, letters and responses to enquiries. They are also intending to include the new JIB branding on their website along with a dedicated section explaining the benefits of employing a JIB company.

Hunters Communication Services, the second runner-up, showed how they were using the JIB branding to stand out from their many competitors. The JIB logo is already on their website and is being updated with the new enhanced member company branding. They are also including the new branding in their email signatures and aiming to update their stationery and vans.

“We were particularly impressed by these three entries,” said JIB chief executive Steve Brawley, who led the panel of judges. “In particular they demonstrated how they were using their JIB membership to differentiate themselves from the competition and making sure that their clients are aware of the added value membership brings to the quality of the services that they offer.”
