Covers Risk Assessment, Grades of system, minimum requirements in properties, types of detector, installation, etc. Seminar length is dependent on particular requirements, but typically 1.5 – 2hrs. Primarily aimed at Local Authority & Housing Association Specifiers, Architects and Senior Electrical Engineers.
Building Regulations requirements – Document B, Fire Safety. This covers fire alarm systems in dwellings and fire protection methods for maintaining the integrity of fire barriers within a property. Primarily aimed at Local Authority & Housing Association Specifiers, Architects, Senior Electrical Engineers and Building Control Officers. Seminar length approx 1.5hrs.
Selection, siting and installation of smoke alarm systems in dwellings. Covering; which alarm type to use and where, the correct siting points within the property and correct installation (including wiring). Primarily aimed at Local Authority & Housing Association Specifiers, Architects and Senior Electrical Engineers.
Testing and maintenance of domestic smoke alarm systems. Covering; how to test a system correctly and effectively maintain the alarms to give a long service life. How to fault find in the event of a problem. Primarily aimed at Local Authority & Housing Association Specifiers and maintenance personnel. Seminar length approx 1.5hrs.
