AICO Demonstrates Latest Data Extraction Technologies At FIREX

Aico exhibition standFollowing a successful first appearance last year, Aico – the market leader in domestic Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarms - will be returning to FIREX this year (20th – 22nd June, ExCel London) on stand E70, where the team will be demonstrating its award winning AudioLINK and RadioLINK+ data extraction technologies and signing visitors up for their free CPD accredited Expert Installer training.

Visit Aico’s stand to learn more about AudioLINK and RadioLINK+ and data extraction technologies.  The valuable real time information extracted marks a genuine advance in alarm technologies, enabling Contractors on site to take appropriate action and assist Landlord’s with asset management records.

AudioLINK allows individual alarm data to be extracted in three simple steps, whilst RadioLINK+ provides entire system data from within or even outside a property.  The Aico team will be on hand at FIREX to demonstrate how simple it is to use AudioLINK and to set up a RadioLINK+ system within a property.

Aico’s premium mains powered alarm, the Ei2110e Multi-Sensor, will also feature prominently on the stand.  The Ei2110e Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm contains two sensor types, optical and heat, to constantly monitor smoke and heat levels, sending and receiving information via its intelligent detection software.

Other products on display include a range of CO Alarms, the Ei160e Smoke Alarm Series and a selection of useful system accessories such as a wire free Alarm Control Switch and the Ei414 Fire/CO Alarm Interface which enables interconnection of alarms to third party safety devices such as Telecare/Warden Call devices, BS5839 Part 1 panel systems and sprinkler systems.

Aico has not only developed an enviable reputation for quality, innovative product, but also for its pre and after sales support.  Aico staff, including its Regional Specification Managers (RSMs), will be on hand at the show to offer visitors advice on Smoke and CO Alarm specification and installation.  Aico has a network of RSMs across the UK who offer guidance and support for a range of alarm projects, from typical two story properties and HMOs through to assisted living schemes.  They are trained not only on Aico product but also have in-depth knowledge of all the related standards and best practice.

Aico RSMs are also responsible for delivering customer training through Aico’s Expert Installer scheme.  A modular training scheme that has recently received CPD accreditation, Expert Installer ensures everyone involved in domestic alarm specifications and installation has all the information they need, from standards & regulations, alarm system design & installation, through to specific technologies.  Training is offered at Aico’s recently expanded Centre of Excellence in Oswestry, Shropshire or can be held in one of Aico’s new mobile training units.  RSMs will be available at FIREX to discuss training options with customers.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Ei Electronics, all Aico alarms are designed and built in Europe, specifically to meet UK standards and regulations, under the strictest of quality controls.  For more information please visit Aico at FIREX on stand E70 or go to www.aico.co.uk.
